The Boys and Girls Club of Bastrop County is planning a luncheon, style show and marketplace "Power of the Purses" November 1, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Resort. Tickets are $40 per individual or $75 per pair. The event will feature regional designers and shops presenting local models. A retail marketplace, silent and live auctions and live music will also be a part of the event. They are looking for sponsors and vendors for this event.
