Dickens on Main St. with a Texas Twist

Travel back in time as Smithville’s historic Main Street is transformed to Christmas in the 19th Century. Come celebrate the life and legacy of Charles Dickens with a Texas Twist as we explore the local history during this era. This family-centered event will feature an ice-skating rink, street vendors and carolers in period costume, train rides, historical displays and performances, live music, theme-based food options, a Cowboy Corner, and lots of holiday shopping. Join in the fun by dressing in Victorian costume, Western wear or just come as you are as we celebrate our past.
