“Keeping an existing Customer is much easier than Finding a new one”…..Words to live by, actually, words to survive by. If I have learned anything over the 28 years of running my own company it’s that return business is the key to survival. If I needed any proof of that the 2020 pandemic proved my point, my loyal customers were there when I needed them, allowing my business to survive when many others failed. In this talk will share with you some conventional and unconventional ways that I have found effective to find, serve and retain quality customers. With an 85% return customer rate in my business, these strategies are proven to work and simple to incorporate into your business routine. The techniques you learn in this talk, along with the ones I discuss in my “Customer After Care” talk will help make you an effective competitor in any business. Good customer care is a dying art, don’t let your business die along with it.
INSTRUCTOR BIO:
Kevin Hutchison started his first career, professional photographer, after earning a degree in Commercial Photography. That path saw Kevin working for independent photography studios, Indiana University, the Department of Defense and finally landed him in Austin working at one of the best studios in town. At the top of Kevin's game but unfulfilled professionally Kevin walked away from that career and started a new one, from the ground up, as a fly fishing guide. 28 years later that company, Hill Country Flyfishers, has grown into an industry leader. Along the way Kevin has also started two other businesses, Fishhead Press, a publishing company and Plain Brown Wrapper Images, a boudoir photography company. Running three very different businesses has taught Kevin a lot of lessons about customer service and how to showcase his services, Kevin would love to share some of that hard won information and ideas with you.
