The Bastrop County Historical Society is honored to welcome two-time Pulitzer Prize-winning photographer and Bastrop native Lucian Perkins for our October Quarterly Meeting.
Perkins spent more than 30 years as a staff photographer for The Washington Post, documenting international conflicts, social issues, and defining moments around the world. Join us as he shares stories from his remarkable career and offers a behind-the-scenes look at documenting history through photography.
Known for his deeply humane perspective, Perkins brings a unique understanding of the people and stories behind the images. Don't miss this special opportunity to hear from one of Bastrop's most accomplished native sons!
