DESCRIPTION:The 6th Annual Texas Photo Festival will be held on Saturday\,October 11 from 7-9 p.m. and Sunday\, October 12 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. indowntown Smithville\, Texas. The Texas Photo Festival is a unique event forphotographers of all kinds hosted by the Smithville Area Chamber of Commerce.  Whether you’re a professional photographer looking to add to your portfolio or an amateur enthusiast\, the Texas Photo Festival is sure to have something for you. The event includes classes\, photo critiques\, on-set instructors\, contest\, photography showings\, gallery openings and a photographer mixer. But that’s not all. During the festival\, downtown Smithville is transformed into the “photo zone” with an eclectic mix of still and action sets. The event starts on Saturday\, Oct. 11\, at 7 p.m. with a showing of the photography works of Arthur Meyerson at Mosaic Art and Home.
