From its bell will cry out the song\, Hymn For The World. The City of Smithville\, Hannibal's beloved city of birth\, commissioned the hymn some years ago. And given what our city\, nation\, and world now faces\, Hannibal hope that this Hymn will help to remind us of our miraculous gift of life. This is the sole reason for the creation of the work. A hymn not for a school\, state\, organization\, or country\, but a hymn for all of humanity.
