DESCRIPTION:The Smithville hometown lighted Christmas parade was originally named the Fantasy of Lights Parade until producers on the Hope Floats production set renamed it Festival of Lights.  \n\n\n\nWhether a Fantasy or Festival\, it is sure to be a spectacular display of lights\, creativity and holiday cheer.  The parade route is along 1st Street and turning onto Main Street.  Ending at 6th and Main.  \n\n\n\nThe parade will begin at 7PM.\n\n\n\nThe 2023 parade theme is "A Christmas Carol"\, named after Charles Dickens 1843 novella of the same title. \n\n\n\nThe parade is brought to you by the Smithville Area Chamber of Commerce.\n\nThank you to the volunteer Parade Committee and committee Chair\, Kathy Karcher.
