DESCRIPTION:CASA - Court Appointed Special Advocates of Bastrop\, Fayette & Lee Counties is hosting 5th Annual Boots\, BBQ & CASINO for CASA fundraiser on Saturday\, June 10\, 2017\, at the Bastrop Convention Center. They are attempting to keep expenses to a bare minimum to raise maximum funds to enhance current programs and establish new programs to meet the needs of children they serve. They need your help to accomplish this goal! CASA has a mission to improve the lives of abused and neglected children in Bastrop\, Fayette and Lee Counties by providing CASA trained volunteers to advocate on their behalf until they are placed in a safe\, nurturing and permanent (forever) home. CASA is appointed by the court to advocate for these children and to ensure they are not lost in an overburdened legal and social community service system or forgotten in an inappropriate foster home.
