DESCRIPTION:The Smithville Area Chamber of Commerce* will host a local Candidate Forum on Tuesday\, April 11\, 2023 at 6:00PM.  The forum will be held at the Smithville Recreation Center.  The Candidates running for City Council in the May 2023 election have all been invited to participate. (Since there were no unopposed Smithville Independent School District Board of Trustee positions\, their election was canceled.)\n\n                                                                                                                                            \n\nMembers of the public are invited to submit questions for the candidates.  You may fill out a paper submission form at the Chamber located at 106 N.E. 1st Street.  You can email questions to Chamber@SmithvilleTX.org or you can anonymously submit your suggestions for questions via this Google Form: https://forms.gle/RHJPCaCVkoZiZXk19\n\nQuestions may be submitted until Sunday\, April 2nd.  You can submit as many questions as you like.  All questions will be given to the Question Selection Committee which will select the questions posed to the candidates.
