DESCRIPTION:Mark your calendar for the Celebration on Main! Our Annual Smithville Area Chamber of Commerce Awards Banquet & Main Street Celebration Fundraiser on Saturday\, May 15\, 2021.\n\n\n\nThis annual event includes the awarding of Business of the Year\, Organization of the Year  and Citizen of the Year and other awards as well as a preview of the new Visitor Center\, Chamber & Museum building. \n\n\n\nCELEBRATION ON MAIN! MAY 15\, 2021\n\nThe Chamber is excited to announce that we will be hosting our annual awards banquet\, which will also double as our final fundraiser for the new building that is currently underway!  We are very excited to see the building rising from the ashes\, so to speak. This facility is going to be a wonderful addition to our community. If you have a chance\, go by and see the progress of construction. \n\nOur banquet and fundraiser will be a great time to celebrate our community\, get together again after such a challenging year and have a little holiday cheer as the d cor and festivities will include the many holidays and events we missed celebrating together in 2020\, from birthday presents at each plate to Easter eggs filled with prizes and a live auction as well\, we'll have a great time!  Chef John Chabot will be serving a plated meal with appetizers by The Royal Tomato and dessert by Olde World Bakery. Beer & wine included and served at the table. Tickets are $65 and can be purchased at www.smithvilletx.org. Donations are 100% tax deductible and can be made at our website or by calling 512-237-2313. Sponsorships are also available.  Live music by the Musikatz!\n\nCome join us as we celebrate our Business of the Year\, Organization and Citizen of the Year as well as recognize several volunteers and businesses for their tireless service over the course of the pandemic and 2020 as well as celebrate the new building\, tour the site and enjoy getting together in historic downtown Smithville!\n\n \n\n  MANY THANKS TO OUR MAIN EVENT SPONSOR DOUG'S PLUMBING!
