DESCRIPTION:2025 Candidate Forum\n\nHosted by the Smithville Area Chamber of Commerce\n\nThe Smithville Area Chamber of Commerce invites you to the 2025 Candidate Forum\, a vital opportunity to hear directly from the candidates running for Smithville City Council in the upcoming May 2025 election. This year's forum will take place on Thursday\, April 10\, 2025\, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Smithville Recreation Center (106 Gazley\, Smithville).\n\nEach year\, the Chamber provides this platform for the community to engage with candidates in contested City Council\, Mayoral\, and School Board races. Since all Smithville Independent School District Board of Trustee positions were unopposed\, their election was canceled\, and only City Council candidates will participate in this year's event.\n\nCommunity involvement is encouraged\, and members of the public are invited to submit questions for the candidates. You can submit questions:\n\n  In person at the Chamber office (102 N.E. 1st Street)\n\n  Via email to Chamber@SmithvilleTX.org\n\n  Anonymously through the Google Form\n\nJoin us for an evening of civic engagement as we learn more about the individuals who seek to represent Smithville.
